Alternative Energy Transportation

Present-day modes of transportation.

Alternative Energy Transportation is available now, and more methods are being discovered, researched, and used as we move forward into the future!

"All of this talk about alternative energies sounds great!" you say, "But how do we use it to power all of the vehicles that we use all over the planet?"

Well, today in the early part of our 21st Century we use fossil fuels (petroleum) to provide power for most of our vehicles.

But other methods are available for moving us around the planet that don't require the USE of fossil fuels.

(Or they help us to reduce the amount of fossil fuel we DO use on a daily basis.)

The more we looked, the more possibilities we found for using alternative energy transportation.

In fact, some of these technologies are just getting started and are in their infancy! We hope you'll find these as enticing and as exciting as we have!

Hopefully, you will see ways you can start using some of them right now!

Methods Available Today

Other, better, less polluting modes of transportation are no longer out of reach for everyday people like us. Newer technologies, better production methods and rising fuel prices are creating more demand for better methods of moving us about our planet.

These new ideas look very promising! Check out these pages for more information:

Learn more about electric cars and how they may play the biggest part in future transportation.

Learn more about hybrid vehicles and how the use of these may very well be the way to transition away from using fossil fuel.

Learn more about fuel cell cars and how this technology may become THE alternative energy transportation of tomorrow and beyond.

Have you ever thought about just running a car on AIR? Well, here's something that you absolutely MUST see! These guys may well have tapped into a technology that will revolutionize our future:

We were also very curious (as you may be) about how we arrived at this point in our history, and why we're still so VERY dependent on fossil fuel and gasoline. Our webpage on the history of transportation may be very helpful for you.
