Alternative Fuel Statistics

Do you want to know the latest alternative fuel statistics (who's using the most, how much, and where)?

Well, you may find it very interesting that since we all have a new and revived enthusiasm for alternative energies, our USAGE of them has increased significantly!

Currently, we can provide you some information about what is being used here where we live in the U.S. But, as more information rolls in about other places on the planet, we will post it here, so feel free to check back with us.

The Table displayed below shows the latest statistics available from the U.S. Energy Information Administration for the years 2003 through 2007.

Alternative Fuel Statistics Table

As you can see, the amount of renewable/alternative energies being used are still quite low compared to fossil fuels, but our renewed interest in them will certainly increase these numbers in the near future.

Keep in mind that many of these figures are best estimates and may not totally include all privately built systems (like those available for you to use with links here on our site). By building your own systems, you may be helping these numbers increase without even knowing it - and that's a good thing!
