The Table displayed below shows the latest statistics available from the U.S. Energy Information Administration for the years 2003 through 2007.
As you can see, the amount of renewable/alternative energies being used are still quite low compared to fossil fuels, but our renewed interest in them will certainly increase these numbers in the near future. Keep in mind that many of these figures are best estimates and may not totally include all privately built systems (like those available for you to use with links here on our site).
